Allow Me to Ramble: I’m Back!

India was amazing. I learned a TON – about STATA, about regular expressions, about how Indian time and Indian elevators work, about how to think about the questions I seek to answer, and how I can use economics to answer them.

Some interesting tidbits from my summer:

I learned about the inspiring work of Jean Dreze.

I gained an appreciation for JPAL fieldwork, including this piece on female contraception and hairdressers.

I am now a master of regular expressions!

I met and made friends with aspiring and current economists from JPAL, CMF, and the IFMR.

It was a great summer – looking forward to going back to school and putting it all to work.
